NV Union, of which Groep Bouwen acquired all shares at the start of 2013, operated inter alia from an office building in Sint-Agatha-Berchem.

At the Marktplein in Herenthout, Groep Bouwen has managed to acquire 4 adjacent properties. As a result, after demolition of the vacant buildings, project land of over 2,400 m² will become available. Construction permits were obtained for the construction of 20 apartments and one retail space. A preliminary agreement was signed with Belfius, the previous owner of one of the 4 buildings, for the repurchase of new, single-story office space. The 4 properties have now been demolished.
