In the course of 2013, Groep Bouwen acquired all shares of NV Union, with in its assets 2 plots eligible for residential development. One of these two plots is located along Britse Tweedelegerlaan in Vorst, close to Dudenpark and Van Volxemlaan, which connects the municipality with the centre of Brussels. The nearby tram stop on Volxemlaan is also called “Union”. Groep Bouwen realized a project on this location with 163 apartments, 1,750 m² of commercial space and a crèche.
