In its home town of Lier, Groep Bouwen in 2001 built a business park along the Antwerpsesteenweg, the largest share of which it sold to the Japanese Sanyo and the local heating company CV Techniek. A third business unit is being leased to the NV Van Marcke, distributor of bathroom articles.
